Artist Statement

Influenced by both Asian Art and Calligraphy and Abstract Expressionism. I like to apply undiluted paint to the canvas and mix my colours upon the canvas as I work. I often create my own tools with different materials to create texture and three dimensional spaces in my work. My multi-facade abstract paintings are inspired by symbiosis in nature and our urban landscape and the meditative process.
